coding program

I used to use dreamweaver to write code and automatically ftp a new file every time i saved the code. I am looking for something similar that I can download that is preferably free. All I need is the ability to write custom code in the program, and then upload the file to the FTP server on save. Does anyone know of such a program?

@ray326Jul 24.2008 — I use a programmer's editor called jEdit that has a plugin whereby FTP just looks like another kind of file system. Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?
