[HELP] a script that would email a file to users

Hi, i’m working on a small project to allow students to connect to my university’s wifi network using their iPhone/iPod touch, and linux, the school supports TTLS-PAP, which cannot be configured automatically on these devices, I’ve managed to create a config file that would allow those devices to connect. heres the question, im looking for a script to put on my blog that would allow the user the input his (username) and email address in two different boxes, the script then edits the config file, adds the students username to it, then emails it to the student, and emails me a copy of the students email so that i could get in touch with them for further information and instructions.

does such a script exist or do i have to write it my self? keeping in my that my scripting skills are very poor at best,

@HoboScriptJul 20.2008 — So wait... are you emailing the config file to the student and yourself? I don't see the point in this. If you want to edit a config file, that would be a server side language like PHP not Javascript which is the forum you are currently in.

Sending an email would also require a server side language.

@comthre3authorJul 20.2008 — No, i dont want to send the config to my self, i want to get a copy of the users email address so that i can contact them and see whether the script worked or not, and update them when i have more configs for different devices.
