Encrypting query strings

Hi

I have made a form that calculates values dependent on items ordered, then when submitted posts the subtotal and tax values to a query string then gets them for submission to Paypal. However, I want to encrypt this query string so it does not show this:

[CODE]http://mydomain.com?subtotal=12.99&vat=2.27[/CODE]

but rather a scrambled code which cannot be picked up until it is actually on the Paypal screen. So…I need a code to decrypt it afterwards.

I have searched for help on this but have not come up with anything I think I can use. Is there an easy way of doing this using javascript?
