Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier.

I am using ms sql database with php. I fetched a uniqueidentifier field value from one table with php and then tried to insert it to another table. I got this error message :
[COLOR=”Red”]Warning: mssql_query() [function.mssql-query]: message: Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier.[/COLOR]

Can anybody tell me how can i solve this ?

@chazzyJul 07.2008 — from what i can tell, it's a known bug in PHP/MS-SQL/Sybase. You might want to take a look from here:
