user controlled timezone.

hi, i know this may have probably been answered millions of times, and belive me i have done a search for this but its overwhelming me.

all i want is to have in a user controll panal a drop down list with timezones that “users” can select and then from that point forward any dates and times entered (stored in the server timezone) will show up as the correct time for them in their timezone.

kinda like in most forums.

i have googled this to high heaven also.
im hoping someone has a link to something thats already functional and easy to intergrate into my own code.

p.s. my the php version im using on my hosts shared server is PHP 4.4.7
