Multiple File Upload Idea

I have a server setup that I cannot change, which only allows me to upload one file at a time.

I want to get around this limitation through some javascript trickery, and I was wondering if my idea was possible, so go easy on me!

Would it be possible have multiple input fields for file upload, but on submit, only send one file at a time to the server, and then send the second file, the third, etc. So that it would still work with my server limitation, but it would allow the user to “upload” multiple files at once.

Any ideas?
