Skill to price ratio

Hey all,
I’m starting up a web design service, and I have my first client. I don’t have an official site yet, this client is a second cousin of mine. I just wanted a few opinions on how much I should charge. I’ve only done two “serious” sites. One is for the thinkquest int’l 2008 competition ([URL=”http://www.opmstech.org/t/”]http://www.opmstech.org/t/[/URL]), and one is for my school’s web design class ([URL=”http://www.opmstech.org/”]http://www.opmstech.org/[/URL]).

Based on how nice these sites look, around how much should I charge for a basic website (like the opmstech.org one)?

And yes, I know that the competition website isn’t very portable, and that the search function in the web design class’ website doesn’t work. I had to cut these features out due to time constraints. My client’s webpage will not behave like this. (Portability to all major computer browsers will be with the basic website, and I’ll charge extra for it to work on mobile browsers)
