problem about .js absolute path, post method and XMLHttpRequest.open permission

I have to use an absolute path in a .js file to post something to the server-side php file, like jQuery.post( ‘http://localhost/server.php‘, …….)

but this will come to an XMLHttpRequest.open method permission denied error. I am pretty sure that php file and the .js file are on the same server. I just have to call an absolute url in that .js file, so the browser denies me. is there anyone to solve this problem?

Thank you!
