KidScript Update (Kids Site Project)

For those intrested in the project we posted for, a while back now, we have gone into our final stages of creation. Named KidScript, we have gone into our final stages and are just putting the finishing touches to designs and putting in the content.

Thanks everyone for their help and intrest, and thought it only fair to keep you updated on the work.

It’s been great fun, and at this point I would like to personally thank all the staff so far, they have been a very, very, great team, I couldn’t have asked for better.

We still need more staff though for when the sites online. If your under the age of 18, please read [url]http://about.kidscript.com[/url] for more info on helping with the site then send an e-mail to: staff at kidscript.com
The other way it sasy to get in contact on there is via the forums, but as we don’t have the forums online yet, this doesn’t apply.

(You can figure out the e-mail addy in that format I’m sure, else you have a slim chance of getting on the team :-p)

@MotherNatrsSonSep 28.2003 — It'll be interesting to see when you get finished. I guess it will either prove or disprove your claims. The proof is in the pudding, so to speak. You might try to put up a little more attractive temporary page than text on a white background. Just a sugggestion.

--I have uploaded the public forums...took me a while but its done. nothing is for sure yet there though and it needs a fine tweaking from gavvy once he logs on.. I'll post the addy once we have the permissions set up. that should be tomorrow.

--also, he said we are in the final stages... we are. but only the final stages of the brainstorming. we are now in the late first stages of actually making the site. we have our tutorials already made up but they all need to be edited and published and the everything needs quite a few coats of paint. I don't think it'll be a truely ready page for another 2 or 3 weeks. (we gotta write a TON of tutorials...)

note to gavvy: don't say anymore about the site! your releasing it to early! lets actually put some content on it before we go showing it off and opening it up=P

@MotherNatrsSonSep 28.2003 — If you have a page up, search engines are already hitting it probably. It only took the google bot 2 days to find my one page I have had the time to put up. People already are coming to the site because of search results on google alone. I would bet it may be the same for you. Do you have site stats? Check to see what bots have been there already. That is why I suggested puting up something a little different for the page you do have up.
