Decision making

I have the following script:

if (condition is true) {
// code to be executed if first condition is true
}
elseif (second condition is true) {
// code to be executed if first condition fails
// but second condition is true

else {
// default code to run if both conditions are false
}

Only the first one that equates to be true will be executed, all others will be ignored even if they are also true.

How to build a script where the others are not ignored, where all are evaluated in some order, say in some order of priority?

@PreamMay 27.2008 — Dont use else, using else will skip the second condition if the first one is true. if statements don't always need else they can go without it
