Friend Finder API

Hello,

I’m looking for information on how to create a “Friend Finder” feature on my site. Alot of sites like Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, etc, have a feature that lets you search your Yahoo Mail, GMail, Hotmail and AOL Mail contacts for your friends that might be using the site your on (e.g. Flickr) or allow you to send invites to your friends to join that site.

I want to implement this on my site but have had a hard time finding the APIs for those email programs. Does anyone know where I can find the APIs for Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail and AOL mail?
