Does anyone know how to pass variables to the script through the script path like the google maps API. I want to achieve something like…

<script src=”/path/to/script.js?id=27492349&amp;user=knightcon&amp;version=2″ />

@TheBearMayMay 15.2008 — Easiest way would be to get the script tag an ID and then use it to grab the src:

[colorcode=Javascript]<script src="/path/to/script.js?id=27492349&amp;user=knightcon&amp;version=2" id="testJS" />

[/colorcode]

and then in the script you can get the query string thusly:

[colorcode=Javascript]var jsSrc=document.getElementById("testJS").src.split("?");

alert(jsSrc[1]);

[/colorcode]

Success!
