Hi, I have created a form where it accepts:

[LIST]

  • [*]

    username


  • [*]

    password


  • [*]

    name


  • [*]

    phone


  • [*]

    fax


  • [*]

    email


    • [/LIST]

    now when a new person comes it checks first to see if the username is taken or not, if it is taken I want the form to return to the first page but have all the fields filled with the info they had given, just indicating to them that this username is taken, please try again.

    How can I without saving their information in the database and without using AJAX do this?

    @XeroSiSauthorMay 04.2008 — it is somewhat like what phpMyAdmin does when you make a mistake, if you go back it has kept your info as it was and you need to fix the problem.
