IF and linking funtion not living happily ever after together =[

ok, still new to this all.

The code is the end part of an IF ELSEIF function:

ELSE
{
ECHO “
<h3 class=’lor’>Peace</h3>
<ul class=’says’>,
<li><a>If you would like to arrange a war, please contact Khaos Wildfire or Havoc Wildfire in-game</a></li>
<li />
<li />
<li />
<li />
<li />
</ul>”
AND
rtlink(‘more.php’, ‘More Comments’);
}

the “rtlink” is my linking function where “more.php” is the destination file and “More Comments” is the text displayed for that link.
This is to aviod perma links

only problem now is that when i use the “href” and put it in the echo, all is fine, which is not what i want
then if i use the rtlink, the link is there but the text “If you would like to arrange a war, please contact Khaos Wildfire or Havoc Wildfire in-game” disappears
and i can’t include them both under the echo…witch is pretty self explanatory

Any help would be greatly appriasated =]
Thanks
Liam
