form processing

What I would like to do is have a user submit a form (that I’ve already built), such as an online application, and then process the form using PHP (??). I know it is possible to take the submitted values from the form, put them into an html file and email that file to someone. That is what I’d like to do. Take the values and information submitted in the online application and use it to email a completed html version of the application to the personnel manager.

Does anyone have any help or suggestions??? I’m in desperate need!

@tfk11Apr 01.2008 — I'd suggest taking a more self directed approach. Rather than asking general questions about basic php programming try to complete the task and ask more specific questions if you encounter any issues that your unable to overcome.

A quick search for articles about php input validation and the mail() function should get you started.
