Editing HTML Live

The title wasn’t the most intriguing but I’m trying to (using GreaseMonkey) edit the bottom of a table, I would like to say I’m an experienced programmer, but am still quiet new to JavaScript, instead of asking how to do this, anyone know any really good tutorials or short books to pick up? Or any book for that matter?

@TJ111Mar 26.2008 — I think your asking for a tutorial on how to manipulate the DOM (Document Object Model, aka HTML) via javascript. If thats not correct let me know. Here is a pretty good rundown of [url=http://eloquentjavascript.net/chapter12.html]DOM and Javascript[/url] from the 'Eloquent Javascript' link in my signature. I'd recommend giving some other parts of that tutorial a look over too.
