Maybe I am a glutton for punishment 😡 however I think some simple frames would spruce up my website but I am at loss as to how to start. ? I understand the codes BUT where does the index.html page go? Or, it is it that the first frame is in reality the index page? Will someone please point me in the right direction on this. Thanks.

@tracknutMar 25.2008 — Well, I'm no fan of frames, but if you're going to do them, typically your index.html file will be rather short, just containing the FRAMSET structure. You then have several other files (one for each frame content) that the frameset points to by name.

@IrvauthorMar 26.2008 — OK Dave, thanks...that does simplify things a bit. Actually, if I were more skilled with html I would like to find another way to do the same thing but when I look at the source codes for professional pages I am overwhelmed by coding I know nothing about (yet). Basically what I want to do is have some semblance of columns (2 or 3) on the home page (index.html) with text and/or ads not related to the galleries as well as the actual links which I currently have there. (see: irving2004.net) Thanks again for your input.
