Javascript load through AJAX

Can JavaScript be loaded through AJAX after the containing page has already completed loading?

@felgallMar 23.2008 — Of course you don't even need Ajax to load as much extra JavaScript as you need, all you need to do is add the extra script tags into the page and the script will be retrieved from the server and run without any Ajax code at all.

Why use Ajax for something that JavaScript can do without Ajax.
