Scan document / make pdf

I have a four page menu (for a restaurant) that I do not want to type up and make an html page of it unless I have to. Could I scan this and make it a pdf image? I have never used a pdf on a website. I use free software for most things; I think I found something recently that makes a pdf. If you have a recommendation, thanks.

@Eye_for_VideoMar 21.2008 — I might add one suggestion on using PDFs. If you open it in the parent window, the appearance of the browser can change somewhat with the addition of a different toolbar. That can be a little confusing to some folks (myself included). More than once I have closed the PDF thinking I would be going back to the Web page, only to find that I had closed the brower instead! So (IMHO) I think PDFs should open in their own window or tab, not the parent.

So just create a link on your main page that opens the PDF.
