Disabling back button working IE but not in FireFox

<A HREF=”PageName.htm” onclick=”javascript:location.replace(this.href); event.returnValue=false; “>No back button when you do this.</A>

I found this solution for disabling the back button which serves my purpose but this is not working in FireFox but works in IE please help me out.

@LeonsbuddydaveMar 17.2008 — That's because IE has security issues that allow JS to do things like that. Firefox is a much cleaner browser, and prevents the use of non-user-friendly scripts.
