[RESOLVED] Basic Javascript Question..!!

Hello guys first post here. I have recently started constructing sites and I have a very basic question. I have implemented a javascript dropdown menu on my site, I’m using dreamweaver but when I hit the preview button my javascript menu does not show up. So my question is, is this because my menu is using javascript and I would only see it once is uploaded to the server and put live? Also when I did a quick search on google for “what is javascript” one of the sites definition was this: Javascript is a scripting language and interpreted in run-time. So this means javascript will get executed at run-time meaning once it’s been put live? and therefore I cant see a preview of the javascript before putting it live? Thanks.

@NedalsMar 17.2008 — You do not need to upload to the server. Javascript should show up when you display the HTML page in which it is located.

Run-time here means when you display the page.

Enable script debugging (Tools::Advanced::Browsing) if using IE or Tools::Error Console if Firefox to check for Javascript errors

Thanks Nedals I was able to fix it by just reading the error console in firefox that you suggested...nice tool that i didn't even know about. Thanks again!~?
