Updated html page, IE doesn’t show changes

I’m using a Mac, and I’m making changes to an HTML page and often times, the client will check those changes for approval, but of course…they use Internet Explorer and those changes don’t show up. I know they need to clear their cache, but because i’m using a Mac, I don’t exactly know what they need to do specifically.

I tried to walk one of them through clearing everything, but all I could get to was clearing EVERYTHING, including browse history and cookies…which i don’t want them to do…i just want IE to update the page when they hit Refresh. Why doesn’t IE do that?

@CentauriMar 12.2008 — Pressing the Ctrl key whilst clicking the refresh button on the browser should force a reload from the site rather than the cache.

@ray326Mar 12.2008 — IE is pretty good about obeying meta http-equiv cache control tags.
