php5 and the usps??

Here’s a really dumb question; My webhost switched to php5 recently and up until they did, nothing was wrong. After they did, my usps script (I believe written in php4) went nuts. The tech support folks at my webhost no longer have a server with php4. The only item in my store at the time that refused to work when they switched was my shipping calculator.
Does anyone know if the usps recently reissued their shipping calculator script to support php5? I’d ask them but you know how slow the gov’t moves..or is there a way to “adapt” it? I’m no programmer so I thought I’d ask you guys…
thx

@chazzyMar 11.2008 — is it possible that when your host upgraded to PHP5 they disabled external connections from this machine? maybe they tweaked php.ini?

USPS doesn't care what language you're using since you're just sending them an XML document, so i doubt they did anything to block/unblock PHP5.
