Apache Problem for testing PHP scripts

Hi there,

I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the right place so I apologise in advance.

I’ve installed Apache on my computer to test PHP scripts. On the whole, it’s largely working fine. However, when I open say an IE window, and enter http://localhost/…. to go to my working files, I get the root directory folder as opposed to the index page. Please see the attached file.

Anyone know why this is happening?

The site works fine once I click on index.htm but I would like to go straight to it if possible.

Thanks for you time.

Riz

@sneakyimpMar 05.2008 — I'm not certain, but I believe you need to check out your Apache config file and check your settings.
