Date Conversion

I am trying to take a date and get the month day and year as separate variables + 1 day. This code does not work:

<?php
$dateConv = “12/25/2008”;
$year = date(‘Y’,strtotime(“+1 day”,$dateConv));
$month = date(‘m’,strtotime(“+1 day”,$dateConv));
$day = date(‘d’,strtotime(“+1 day”,$dateConv));
echo “year – $year<br>month – $month<br>day – $day”;
?>

Anyone got a simple solution?

@Beach_BumauthorFeb 23.2008 — Never mind. The obvious. I needed to get the right input format.

$dateConv = mktime(0, 0, 0, 12, 25, 2008);

Success!
