If a hit counter only reads your ip once and stops counting is it possible to make it so it counts all hits from the same ip? This is not my website but I control the body section is there any code I can put in the body to make it read the same ip more than once?

Thanks in advance.

@scragarFeb 04.2008 — you can't do it with javascript, but it's more than possible to count both unique and non-unique impressions on a page.

@scragarFeb 04.2008 — in most languages a counter that ignores users second+ page does this either by storing the IP in a database, or by setting a cookie. To count all results the same sort of code may be used however you simply omit the references to the databse/cookie that allow it to differentiate between users.
