Is it possible to create and change your own superglobal variables? If so, how?

@NogDogJan 26.2008 — You could simply use the $GLOBALS array, e.g.:
$GLOBALS['myvar'] = "foobar";
function example()
{
echo $GLOBALS['myvar'];
}
example(); // outputs "foobar";
@chrisranjanaJan 26.2008 — Not sure whether you can create your OWN superglobals but

Wouldn't adding a variable to the $GLOBALS make it global ?

@Fatal_ErrorauthorJan 27.2008 — I didn't realize that you could edit the $global variable.

Thanks.
