How to Pass Parameter to a JSON formatted object/function

Hi everyone,

I have this function/object in javascript:

var Validation =
{ “submit”:function(){
//do something
},
“other_prop”:”other_properties”
};

//in the calling side

Validation.submit();

Question:
1. I wanted to pass something to submit(), how can I do that?
#How can I access the parameter in the function ?

Please help, thanks

@cgishackJan 15.2008 — What about something like so

<i>
</i>var Validation =
{ "submit":function(value){
alert(value);
},
"other_prop":"other_properties"
};

//in the calling side

Validation.submit('Hi JS Coder');
