® doesn’t look right

Can anyone tell me why the “R” in Microban® doesn’t look right on [url=http://www.foremostgroups.com/news.html]this page[/url]?

It’s the same size as the text, and doesn’t act as a superscript (if that’s what they’re called)…

any insight as to why this is?

just a guess - but you can't do <sup> within <a>, can you?
