registrar stole domain!

my client purchased two domains from acsite.net about three years ago. acsite.net uses dn875.com as a sub-business i suppose, but email is [email][email protected][/email].

i recently got my own server and wanted to transfer them over to my server. they both were going to expire on jan. 7, 2008. i checked yesterday and the registrar had renewed them.

also, the client no longer has access to the email account on the whois. and dn875.com never gave my client access into a control panel to manage his domains. they will not respond to email.

without access to unlock the domains, and if the registrar keeps renewing the domains, is there any way to get these domains transfered away from these guys?

@felgallJan 07.2008 — The registrar can renew the domain themselves but only if either the owner has agreed to have it automatically renewed (in which case the owner will be billed for the renewal and should still have access to the domain) OR if the owner doesn't renew the domain by the due date then the registrar will normally renew the domain themselves for a further period during which only the original owner can request to buy it back from them.
