HELP ASAP Please

So i’m in web site group, and we started figuring out how to make words bold and bigger in our postings. The thread was getting so big the moderators moved it. Now everyone is having fun making their text smaller and bigger and bold etc… in the reply boxes. We’re trying to teach each other.
I gained some info from your site…..

Bu tnow someone has typed a strikethrough and it won’t go away. It’s not only on all text after his post including some of the general text on the page itself. It’s a private site so i don’t know if the link will work and allow you to understand what i’m talking about.

What i need to know is… can i end the strike thorough and bold from a new post on that page. I did try ending the strikethrough </s> like that
and this <s></s> but it still shows up.

What is the code to end all of it ??? ?

Thank you ALL

@KDLAJan 02.2008 — This info, from the HTML validator might help:

# Line 882, Column 44: element "s" undefined.

<div id="post-body-container-159716"><p><s> WTF? <s> Sorry!</p></div>

You have used the element named above in your document, but the document type you are using does not define an element of that name. This error is often caused by:

* incorrect use of the "Strict" document type with a document that uses frames (e.g. you must use the "Frameset" document type to get the "<frameset>" element),
* by using vendor proprietary extensions such as "<spacer>" or "<marquee>" (this is usually fixed by using CSS to achieve the desired effect instead).
* by using upper-case tags in XHTML (in XHTML attributes and elements must be all lower-case).

# Error Line 882, Column 53: element "s" undefined.

You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">".

# Info Line 882, Column 51: start tag was here.

@mom243authorJan 02.2008 — WEll that sort of helps me, but i do not have access to the web page itself to make the corrections. Is there a code of some sort i can use in the next box that would complete the missing codes?

I'm sorry I'm pretty new at this stuff and have not yet attempted my own page. Thank so much for your time.

@KDLAJan 02.2008 — If you go into the HTML view of each individual post, you can get rid of those tags. Do you have that type of access?

@mom243authorJan 02.2008 — No I do not, but it looks like someone just corrected it and the next page is looking normal again.

I think I'd better stay out of that forumn, until I'm a bit more familiar with what I'm doing.

Thank you so much.
