database connection question

Hi,

I’ve been learning PHP on my local machine with mysql, phpadmin, etc. using localhost. Once I’m ready to start testing on my work on a live webserver (I have some shared hosting at startlogic) how do I find the correct path to my database? This is probably is stupid question, but I’ve never done it so I have to ask…

Thanks!

would that be in the upper left next to where it says: "Server"? So I just put that address in for my DB_SERVER?
