Hello all!

Does anyone have a script or a code for something as shown on the attached sample image (I like to call it a carousel) file whereby the following elements would be needed and used in an IBM Websphere portal environment:

  • – it should be easy to add or delete images (and text under it)

  • – by clicking the image and text the product description would be shown in another portlet

  • – the script (javascript, flash, flex, ajax, other?) should not conflict with Websphere portal software and should thus be stable

  • – it would be great that if another product is put into the database and an image stored somewhere as well that the image (plus text) will automatically be added to the carousel

    • This could be a javascript code but if anyone has a better idea then please, let me know as well!

    @JMRKERDec 20.2007 — I don't know if it meets all of your requirements

    but if you put a background-image CSS into the .slide definition,

    change the images and text to be displayed

    and modify the right/left arrows, this may be a start. ?
