php mysql calculate

hi

i have this code bellow that i run on my game site cron to set users with top points as featured profiles. but now i wonder how i can make a [I][B][U]new[/U][/B][/I] query that sets the “featured_profile” row to +1 if the users has over 2000 points in “today_points” when the cron runs.

can some kind person please help with this?
