Hello, my site is in one english country in Msn and Yahoo for some years.
How do you get your site in other english countries for these search engines? Any tips and help on how to do that is really appreciated. Thank you very much.

@The_Old_SargeDec 05.2007 — Have you tried submitting it to the engines in question?

@vortexerauthorDec 06.2007 — Thanks a lot Sarge, not getting any help on this anywhere but you, really appreciate it. I can't find a way to Submit to MSN And Yahoo in other English Countries. The only thing I can see is one submission for all English Countries. Anyone know if they have other submissions somewhere and where I can find them? Thank you very much.

@petewilliamsDec 06.2007 — Your best bet is to try to get some inbound links from other sites. Then the search engine spiders will follow the links and find your site. The most links you have and the more relevant the engines think your site is, the more likely you will get listed.

Some search engines are phasing out submission altogether, so that you can't get indexed unless you have some inbound links.

I don't know exactly what you're looking for. Maybe this link for Yahoo?

@vortexerauthorDec 07.2007 — Thanks a lot Stacy, already did that, that submission puts me only in one English country. I have lots of site links on other sites in other English countries, and even non English countries. But none of those countries show my site in MSN or Yahoo. Which I know what you mean I thought the same thing and seems strange to me as well but it true, and why I'm so confused. I thought that as well, just getting links on other sites in other countries would work. But it isn't. Since this is so obiously hard for me, it must be for many others as well. Anyone know how to get past all this in MSN and Yahoo? Please let me know, thank you very much.

@The_Old_SargeDec 07.2007 — Vortexer,

Way back when we submitted our sites to Yahoo! (using the link Stacy provided). We had no idea that doing so only submitted to one country.

So ... how is it that we're listed in others? Not really sure but I suspect it has to do with the links we've built up over the last few years. You can bet I'll keep an eye on traffic stats from other English-speaking countries.

@vortexerauthorDec 09.2007 — Thanks a lot. If anyone reading this has MSN or Yahoo search visitors coming to their site from other than their own country, please let me know how you think you did it. Because the only visitors coming to my site from Yahoo and Msn are from my own country, shown with a site counter. Even though I have many other links in other countries it isn't helping. Your help is very appreciated. Hope someone can let me know how to solve this. Thank you very much.
