Embedded <a href> in IFRAME doesn’t link to parent

I have a “tabbed” iframe that switches content depending on what CSS tab is clicked above it. Each tab references its own .asp file. These .asp files have links in them. Its essentially 4 images you can click on that go to various places. The problem is when I click them, it loads the document into the IFRAME. What I need is when I click one of these images contained within the IFRAME that it links to the parent window and replaces the entire window content with the target of the HREF.

How is this behavior forced? In a nutshell I just need the iframe links to link to the parent window instead of itself.

Thanks,
D

target="_parent" in the hrefs seemed to solve this issue.
