Displaying a help window

I am very new to javascript! I would like to display help notes (in Helpb.htm, below) in a small window which appears over the background main webpage. The following coding does it after a fashion but it still displays the location of the Helpb.htm as a URL at the top of the new window. Is it possible to have a window which contains practically nothing other than my help notes? Even with ‘scrollbars’ set to zero the space assigned for the scrollbar is evident. Or am I approaching it in the wrong way? Grateful for any help!

<script LANGUAGE=”JavaScript”>
<!–//
function openWindow()
{
window.open(“”,”windowname”,’toolbar=0,location=0,scrollbars=1,width=500,height=280,resizable=1′);
}
//–>
</script>

<a href=”Helpb.htm” onClick=openWindow() target=”windowname”>Help</a>
