SO CONFUSED…Need help with PHP-CGI binary :(

I just started a job where they’ve decided that running PHP as a CGI binary is the best way to piss me off. I’ve never done PHP in this manner EVER…so I’m BEYOND confused.

Could someone give me some quick help with it? I just need a quick rundown of the basics and such.

What I need to do with it (in the immediate future) is to basically just create a template page (basic php, just using includes mostly)…but I have no idea to go about it. I know that it must be in the cgi-bin directory…and they told me that it has to be set to 700 for permissions…and I also have to include some line of code
#!/usr/local/bin/php
at the top of any php page.

Um…I hope this explains my dilemma and I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Thanks ?

Will
