Javascript debugger

Currently I’m working through a javascript tutorial. But it seems to me as if it is very hard to find code errors in a javascript script. I already saw on the web some javascript debuggers like venkman. But what is the best debugger which of course has to be open source or a least free.
And is there a plugin for eclipse, that underlines wrong code pieces?

@KorNov 14.2007 — I use Firefox and it's Firebug plug-in. But even the FF default Error Console is a good tool.
