Okay I have been noticing this issue with several websites i work on, and I really have no idea whats going on or how it can be fixed, i can only assume its a caching issue…
Anyway the problem is I have heard from some visitors and also from noticing what someone has mentioned in emails that it appears that when I update the websites not everyone visiting is seeing the changes, and some of these people appear to be first time visitors or have visited the page many months earlier even though the updated content may be a month old (which should be plenty of time to update a users cache).

I have read into using the pragma no-cache tag but from all of the remarks on that tag it doesn’t really appear to work, besides it would seem that if i haven’t used the tag previously then adding it now wouldn’t help the situation since they (the visitor) are still stuck on the old page…
I am using PHP if that may have anything to do with it (although this happens with HTML sites also)…. Does anyone else have this problem, or know a way to push the updated content so the visitor gets the most recent version of the page…
Honestly I don’t understand how it cant update since I’m using PHP, and some of the pages have constantly changing content (news, point leaderboard, date echo’s, etc )
