Display number of people currently viewing your webpage

Hi Guys, I have a little problem and would like to know if anyone knows how to do this:

I have a chat room on my website. I would like to know is there a way i can put a little script on the page that displays how many people are looking at the page.
When a person views the page that number increases representing another person being added to the total number of viewers. Also the other way around.
I use Mozilla Firefox and would like it to work with this browser.
PS: Something like this website has at the bottom of this page!
!!!NOT INTEGRATED WITH THE CHAT I JUST WANT TO DISPLAY WHO IS ON THE WEB PAGE!!!

If anyone can help out by giving me a script that i can use, would be great!!!

@scragarOct 22.2007 — it would need to be integrated with the chat, you log each users latest request of the chat, then to display the number simply load the number of users who have made a request in a short time(5 mins is normal, but with fast loading chats this number could be greatly decreased).
