Outlook Templates – Validating Checkboxes

I am not a developer, but have been asked to develop an outlook template, replacing a paper form. I want to validate a checkbox if it is ticked.

If it is ticked, I want to email the form to someone. So far I have:

[s1] <> “”

in my validation formula, where s1 = my fieldname. I cannot figure out how to code it such, that it will email an email address if the checkbox is ticked. Any help appreciated.
