firefox <button> inside form

i noticed this problem in firefox browser
i have a form that contain a submit button written as
<inpty type=submit>
if i add any other button in side the form for doing some javascript actions for me
firefox treat this button as submit button for that form

@ZnupiSep 30.2007 — First of all, could you please check your spelling before posting a message? You typed inpty instead of input....

This is normal behavior, Opera is the same, not only Firefox, and I bet other browsers like Safari, etc, behave alike. The way to fix it is by using
&lt;input type="button"&gt;
or
&lt;button type="button"&gt;
Good luck ?
