javascript tooltip appears beneath flash

hi

i have an image left of a flash video, when you mouseover the image a javascript tooltip appears (to the right of the cursor). the problem is the tooltip goes below the flash. how can this be fixed? (sry if this is more a flash than javascript question)

@spliffauthorSep 15.2007 — eeeh this z-index value of the tooltip is nowhere to be found in the *.js file, is that where i should look?

i used javascript to embed the flash (its actually flv player by jeroen wijering).

so i dont know how to put the z-index to > 0 and i dont know how to put wmode=transparent in javascript embed as opposed to 'classic' embed.

pls help thnks

@spliffauthorSep 15.2007 — in the css of the tooltip (header and center) i set z indexes for both at 10 but this didnt help.

@spliffauthorSep 15.2007 — it turns out that wmode=transparent cancels fullscreen option so this is not attractive for me to use,

i have to switch the tooltip so it goes left. if anyone can help with that great (tell me what to look for and change)

@felgallSep 15.2007 — wmode=window puts the flash in front of everything else.Your visitors are then not supposed to be interacting with anything else in the page while the flas is running. To make the flash part of the web page you need to change the wmode to transparent or opaque instead of window.

You should never use the fullscreen option. I know of people whose screen is effectively 1000 pixels high and 100000 pixels wide (going across dozens of monitors set side by side).
