Hi,
I was hoping that someone can help me in solving this problem that bothers me.
I have two dropdown boxes and both are populated form external .js file, which means that their option tag is empty in the html code of the page. The first dropdown is filled when the page loads and the content of the second dropdown box depends what is selected in the first one, so at page load it’s empty.
Now here is the tricky part. I make selections in both dropdown boxes and click on button to take me to another page and when I click on “back” button in the browser, I return to the page with dropdown boxes, where only the selected option in the first dropdown box is remembered but not the second dropdown option. In fact, there are no options listed in the second dropdown box as like nothing from the first box is selected but yet, the selected option in the frost box is displayed.
I’m trying to find a way, when I click “back”, for second dropdown box to be displayed with the option I’ve selected previously and with all options available for that box, depending on the option selected in the first box. Something like the browser to remember what were my selections in both boxes, when I click the “back” button.
Here is the test page for better explanation of the problem [URL]http://www.acustomwindowtreatment.com/test/orderpage/bamboo-shades/horizon-quote-order-8-4.htm
The first dropdown box is “Product group” and the second is “Color”.
Cheers,
Robert
