Image Map Pop-Up

What i am looking for is a code for a pop-up after i click on something in an image map. What i am trying to do is make a map, then when you click on a destination, maybe it would somehow appear (hopefully nicely) onto the page. It would have to be able to scroll. But then at the bottom have a close button. Can you Help?
