Java Script Date function – Please help

Hi,

I am adding 5 days to the current date, Is there any way I can change the new date in MM/DD/YYYY

Here is the code I have

var myDate=new Date()
myDate.setDate(myDate.getDate()+5) // i want to print this in MM/DD/YYYY format

@felgallAug 14.2007 — To get it into that format you need to use the getDate() getMonth() and getFullYear() methods to retrieve the parts of the date when you are ready to display it. Of course it would be better if you allowed your visitors to see the date in whichever format makes most sense to them.
