No clicking allowed

Hello everyone,

I have an embedded video which is the only thing on a web page of mine. I would like to disable the double clicking of the video so that it doesn’t go to full screen. Since I have not been able to find a way to do this with the video itself, I am going to disable left-clicking within the web page using javascript. The code below seems to work, however; it displays an alert when the screen is clicked on. I don’t want this alert to display. I just want it so that left-clicking is disabled on the page. Does anyone know how to edit the code below so that it doesn’t show the alert? Or, some other code that would disable left-clicking on the page. Thanks so much, Cedric

<script language=”javascript”>
function noLeftClick() {
if (event.button==1) {
alert(‘No left clicking allowed’)
}
}
document.onmousedown=noLeftClick
</script>
