JSP data retention

Hello

I have a servlet which can load one of two JSPs depending upon a menu. On each JSP, there are a number of check boxes, radio buttons, drop downs etc.

When options from these controls are selected, their values are passed to the next servlet quite happily (via the form submit button). But if I return from the next servlet to the page with the JSP (using back), the check boxes, radio buttons, drop downs etc have all defaulted to default settings.

Ideally, I would like them to show what was selected previously.

Is there a way to do this at all?

Martin O’Shea.
