How to compress a Folder

Hi!

I searched about several PHP compression functions, however I found only functions that writes string in into compressed file.

My requirement is to add all contents of a folder to compressed file (prefer zip).

Zip, Gzip, Bzip, …..

If anyone have samples how to solve my problem using above or other compression utilities, please let me know.

I’m using PHP in Windows.
